Dette har ført til at DASAIM’s bestyrelse er blevet bedt om at undersøge muligheden for en dansk model til tildeling af CME-point.
The Scandinavian Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (SSAI) has co-ordinated an advanced training program in Intensive Care Medicine for doctors working at Scandinavian hospitals since 1998. Until now some 400 Scandinavian intensivists have been trained during the 15 programs organized so far. The aim and the content of the program was designed more than 15 years ago and the result of the program is that Scandinavian Intensive Care Medicine is in the international forefront clinically. Most major Scandinavian ICUs are now run by former participants of the program and the network created is functional.
